FUN FACT: Doncaster is the home to two of the World's oldest horse races.
In between meeting couples and discussing all things wedding, I could not resist taking some pictures of the catwalk show.
I hope you'd enjoy the visuals as much as I did capturing them.

Its very easy to forget that even in the UK, we have some breathtaking settings all around us. When I first suggested an outdoor peak district shoot to Grace and Ify, they were both very enthusiastic about the prospect, as we wanted something different from the typical city or park shoot. Immediately, we both began our research into possible locations, and we knew that we had found a winner when both of us shotlisted Mam Tor and Winnats Pass.
Voted as one of the most romantic locations in the UK to get engaged, Winnats pass and Mam tor boasts of one of the most dramatic landscapes you'll find in the Peak district. A raw canvas for creating beautiful pictures with only limitation being your imagination.
THE SHOOT
The day started with light showers of rain, somewhat cold and breezy, but we persisted and ventured out into the peaks. Nothing was going to stop us from getting these amazing pictures
An engagement shoot is a great way to get to know your photographer and also get a taste of what to expect on your wedding day. If you are inspired by these shots, take a look at more pictures on my portfolio, Facebook, or Instagram page.

What a year it has been. Covid 19 came, disrupted all our plans and the end is no where near in sight. Who would have thought we'd be having this kind of year?
Time really does fly! Whilst most industry have been rocked by the impact of the pandemic, with numerous wedding cancellations and scheduling, I have purposely used this time to reflect, re-strategize, learn, and improve my photography, so I can better serve my clients. This time has also given me the opportunity to do a much needed rework on my website. You can already tell by the look and content on this website. I'm even trying to bring back the blog.
Looking back, I have captured moments at events across the length and breadth of the country, from cradle to grave and all the milestone events in the middle. I have clocked the mileage from London to Aberdeen and numerous cities and towns in between. Chester, Liverpool, Manchester, Crewe, Nottingham, Sheffield, Leeds, York, Cambridge, Northampton, and even the great city of Derby (my new home). I always enjoy the thrills of travelling and hope next year brings more opportunities. God willing and COVID willing.
So here's me using this opportunity to say thank you to all my clients over the years, and to those I had to decline, thank you. To the photographers that assisted me at several events, thank you! I believe this pandemic season will pass, and we'll soon be back doing what we love, documenting beautiful memories for our wonderful clients.
In the mean time, I thought I'd share a selection of some of my favourites from the archives.
